This bathroom in an architecturally designed beachfront residence was due for a refurbishment. The family’s teenagers had outgrown the bath and needed more space. Removing the bath was the simple solution for providing more storage and bench area. The existing shower base was removed and replaced by a bigger walk-in shower with a tiled shower base. Retaining the timber floor and replacing the coloured vanity with a classical white stone & 2-pac vanity has created a warm neutral palette. But the pièce de résistance is the dramatic mosaic tile pattern wrapping around the existing curved wall. Reflected in every mirrored surface around the room, the tiles create a really special wow factor.
